How can we Take the Best Photos?

If the camera had the ingenuity of the human brain, to take good photos, all you had to do was point the camera at the subject and press the button. But this is not the case.

When a subject catches our eye, our brain pays particular attention to that subject through The ability of human vision to adapt to different lights is one of the other advantages of the human eye over the camera. In order for the photo we are taking to have the same relationship with the viewer, we have to consider some subtle points.

How can we Take the Best Photos?

Photography Language

Photography, like any other means of expression, has its own language. Learning this language helps us to express our thoughts and the world around us through the photos we take.

How to take more vivid photos ?

1. Light is the most important factor in photography

The word photography in English means “writing with light”. Proper lighting can enliven our photo and vice versa. However, direct light creates sharp and unpleasant shadows in the photo. Indirect light is best for taking photos and also makes the colors more vivid. The days when a thin cloud of sunlight shines in the sky, early mornings and evenings are the best times for any photography such as fashion photography, art and etc. Remember that light should shine on the subject of our photo and not on the camera.

3.interesting subject

Choosing an interesting topic or subject is the first step. Before taking a photo, ask yourself what draws us to the subject we are looking for and try to show it clearly in the photo we are taking. Also, it is not enough to take a photo to experience different angles to show the subject we want. This will give us a better chance to choose the best photo

4.Going two-step forward

Not all cameras have the ability to zoom (lengthen the camera lens), and this, even when possible, reduces the depth of field and a smaller part of it appears clear. The best way to remove what does not need to be in the photo is to get closer to the subject. This reduces the clutter of the photo and puts more emphasis on what the photographer wants.

Before pressing the camera button, take a few steps closer to the subject of the photo and look at it again through the camera lens. If what you want does not fill most of the picture, you still have to go closer.

5.Photo frame

The choice of what to put in the photo and what to remove is one of the most important factors in the success of our photo. The rectangular window of the camera from which we look at the world forms our photo frame. Before taking a photo, by looking at what is in this box, we can preserve what is needed to express the photo and remove what is extra.

Moving the camera, changing our distance from the subject of the photo, and changing the position of the subject, if possible, change the content of this frame.

6.The background of  the photo

The background of the photo in the language of photography art can be compared to the noise that prevents our voice from reaching the audience. Changing the position of the camera can change this background. The calmness of this background gives the viewer the opportunity to look at the subject of the photo with more focus.

7.The composition

What we see through the camera window is our final image. The composition in the photo can be compared to a language grammar. If our words are put together in order, our expression will be clear and meaningful. The relationship between the components of the image forms the composition of the image. This relationship should be such that it clearly means what we mean by photography work.

8.Resolution in photos

What is clear or focused on a photo catches the viewer’s eye. On most digital cameras, where everything is done automatically, the focus point is in the center of the image, and if your subject is in the corner of the photo, it will be less sharp.
